Chief Financial Officer (Hamilton)

A dynamic fifteen million dollar credit union in Southwest Ohio is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will perform and be responsible for all financial aspects of the credit union including but not limited to: budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash management, payroll administration, financial statements, federal, state and local tax filings, 401(k) administration, NCUA 5300 report, investment portfolio management, and ALM management.  Conduct financial analyses, special projects, work with senior management, Board of Directors, related committees, and be responsible for documentation of processes, procedures, related internal controls, and compliance. 

Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and within established guidelines.   Must have a proficient knowledge of accounting practices and computer applications.  Bachelor's degree in accounting required from an accredited college or university.  Five years plus of financial institution experience preferred.  Must be self motivated and able to multi task. Member Services Representatives - Full- and Part-time (Columbus area)

KEMBA Financial Credit Union is seeking knowledgeable, sales-oriented professionals to join its Floater and Hilliard Branch Member Services teams in a part-time capacity and Whitehall and Bellefontaine Branch Member Services teams in a full-time capacity.

Mortgage Loan Originator   (Columbus)

Small Business Lender (Columbus)

Telhio Credit Union is located in Columbus, Ohio, and is seeking a talented, people-oriented and exceptional individual to provide strategic leadership and tactical guidance to the division of Business Lending. This position reports to SVP of Lending and Member Services.

Under the direction of the SVP, the Small Business Lender will be required to call on small- to medium-size business. The individual will solicit term loans and lines of credit relationships with small business members/customers primarily through “cold calling,” branch network, and various other channels.  Key responsibilities include selling and closing small business loans and lines of credit. This individual must have the ability to uncover small business needs and match products/services accordingly. 

The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field. Candidate must also have a minimum of five years of experience and a proven track record of success in a small business-lending environment. SBA 7a and 504 knowledge and experience, along with a basic understanding on how to spread financial statements and tax return analysis is required. A strong knowledge of commercial credit parameters is also required. Should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Strategic thinking, along with excellent communication and strong member service skills are a must. Must have audit, financial skills, knowledge of and ability to utilize financial software, along with the proven ability to deliver strong service to our members and be able to handle and maintain confidentiality.

Staff Accountant (Massillon)

A Northeast Ohio credit union seeks a talented individual for the position of Staff Accountant.  The individual sought will have a minimum of a two-year accounting degree from an accredited college and/or have equivalent experience. Credit union background highly preferred. Candidates will need solid organizational, problem-solving and research abilities. Desired individual must be able to perform account analysis and reconciliation’s, including bank statements and subsidiary general ledger account entries. Other skills sets essential to the position will include the ability to maintain and reconcile fixed assets and prepaid system, review general ledger accounts, post all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, and post adjusting journal entries. Outbound Call Representative (Dayton)

The position offers the perfect opportunity for people that are commission-driven with outbound/cold calling experience. It is mainly a cold calling position. All leads are provided. You will not be put on an auto-dialer. This newly-created position contacts members in order to solicit credit union products and services, is knowledgeable of these products and services in order to answer questions from members (will train), and is responsible for developing lists of prospects from new member lists, company records, etc.

Applicants must be skilled in Microsoft Office software and be flexible and hard-working. Minimum 12-months financial services experience. Teller/Member Service Representative – Part-Time  (Cincinnati)

Communicating Arts Credit Union seeks an experienced Teller/Member Service Representative for part-time hours. Duties include assisting members with a variety of deposit-related transactions, including cashing checks; posting deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments to member accounts; providing travelers checks, money orders, cashiers checks, and credit card cash advances; and miscellaneous member-related services. The position also includes miscellaneous back-office functions, such as filing, scanning documents, and follow-up phone calls to members.

The position will be scheduled for approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with additional hours on an “as needed” basis. This position pays an above-average hourly wage. Bookkeeper (Columbus)

Job duties include: prepares various accounting reports; performs the tasks necessary to maintain, balance, and update general ledger and subsidiary accounts; and assists in other accounting related duties.

--Complete balancing and reconcilement of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and off-balance sheet items.
