Telhio Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor. This
position will be required to perform all processing functions
relative to first mortgage and home equity applications. This
position will primarily be charged with processing mortgage loans
for CUSO/Credit Union clients. This includes, but is not limited
to: compliance with underwriting guidelines for portfolio products
and investor loans, effective communication with members, credit
union clients, vendors, real estate agents, investor, and other
mortgage lending staff and coordination of loan closing between
member, title company, investor loan closer, or portfolio loan
closer, while meeting rate lock and closing deadlines. This
function provides the credit union clients and credit union member
the vehicle to obtain first mortgage financing and is critical to
the credit union’s objective of providing purchase money mortgages.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all member account
information and information is mandatory.
Qualifications for
this position are mortgage processing experience including FHA
mortgages. A strong knowledge of mortgage products and services, and
knowledge of credit union products is a must. The ability to
communicate effectively, be organized, and handle multiple projects
while projecting a positive and professional image of Telhio CU is a
crucial part of this position. The ability to organize and
prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision is essential.
A high school diploma or GED is also required.
