Ohio CU Mortgage Trends Data 
The Ohio Credit Union League has updated its annual mortgage report, Key Trends & Impacts of Mortgage Lending, Delinquencies and Bankruptcies in Ohio Credit Unions. The drastic consequences of the mortgage market “implosion” have not yet rippled through credit unions, according to the study and comments the League has received from credit union CEOs. However, subprime loans are prevalent in Ohio (though rarely offered by credit unions) and with Ohio’s generally poor economy, the potential for even higher delinquencies and foreclosures could be in store, as illustrated by the report’s graphs.
